Loy Allen Bowlin (September 16, 1909 – June 14, 1995), also known as ''The Original Rhinestone Cowboy'', was an outsider artist from McComb, Mississippi. His artwork largely included bejeweling his clothing, Cadillac, home and even his dentures with thousands of rhinestones. Bowlin's life and work have been acclaimed by various outsider art critics and periodicals including Raw Vision. Saint Eligius (also Eloy, Eloi or Loye; french: Éloi; 11 June 588 – 1 December 660 AD) is the patron saint of goldsmiths, other metalworkers, and Coin collecting, coin collectors. Tristan Loy (born 11 May 1973) is a French long distance and marathon speedskater, long track speedskater, and inline speedskater. Loy won the 120 kilometres race of the 2006 Finland Ice Marathon in Kuopio. During the 2006 Six Days of the Greenery he did not win a race, nor the final classification, but he was named to be the most exciting skater of the tournament. As a result, he was awarded 18 points for the 2007 Dick van Gangelen Trophy, most of all participating skaters. Loy also takes part in international long track speed skating races, usually over the long distances 5,000 and 10,000 metres. Matthias Loy (March 17, 1828 - January 26, 1915) was an American Lutheran theologian in the Evangelical Lutheran Joint Synod of Ohio. Loy was a prominent pastor, editor, author and hymnist who served as president of Capital University, Columbus, Ohio. Biography Matthias Loy was the fourth of seven children of Matthias and Christina Loy, immigrants from Germany who lived as tenant farmers in the Blue Mountain area of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
