Lower Dens
Lower Dens was an American alternative indie pop band from Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The band was formed in 2010 by Jana Hunter, Geoff Graham, Abram Sanders and Will Adams. Lower Dens has released four albums: their debut on Gnomonsong and a follow up album on Ribbon Music. Their third album, ''Escape from Evil'', was released on March 31, 2015, on Ribbon Music. Fade (Yo La Tengo Album)
''Fade'' is the thirteenth full-length album by American indie rock band Yo La Tengo. It was produced by John McEntire, instead of Roger Moutenot, who had produced all their albums since 1993's '' Painful''. It was recorded at Soma in Chicago, in the summer of 2012. It was released on January 15, 2013. Release " Stupid Things" was released on 12" and CD on September 25, 2012, prior to the album release. It contains a different version of the title song. "Ohm" was released as a limited edition triple 12" in "a printed flat in a 4-box poly shower curtain display case" in July 2013 On November 5th the 12" of "Super Kiwi" was released. The title song was recorded during the ''Fade'' sessions with John McEntire. On the B-side there is a cover of the Beach Boys' "A Day in the Life of a Tree". Yo La Tengo (YLT; Spanish for "I have her") is an American indie rock band formed in Hoboken, New Jersey, in 1984. Since 1992, the lineup has consisted of Ira Kaplan (guitars, piano, vocals), Georgia Hubley (drums, piano, vocals), and James McNew (bass, vocals). ''Nootropics'' is the second album released by Baltimore indie rock band Lower Dens. It was released April 30, 2012, on the Domino Recording Company’s Ribbon Music label, the band's first album on that label, its debut ''Twin-Hand Movement'' being released on Gnomonsong. ''Nootropics'' was recorded at the Key Club Recording Company in Benton Harbor, Michigan. It was produced by Drew Brown, an engineer who had assisted Nigel Godrich on several projects. ''The Idiot'' is the debut studio album by American musician Iggy Pop, released on March 18, 1977, through RCA Records. After the break-up of his band the Stooges in 1974, Pop struggled with drug addiction. Although attempts to get sober proved unsuccessful, by 1976, he was ready to end his addiction. Pop accepted an invitation to accompany his friend David Bowie on his Isolar Tour. At the end of the tour, Pop agreed to join Bowie, also struggling with drug addiction, in moving to Europe to rid themselves of their addictions. The two settled into the Château d'Hérouville in Hérouville, where Bowie agreed to produce an album for Pop. James Newell Osterberg Jr. (born April 21, 1947), known professionally as Iggy Pop, is an American singer, musician, songwriter and actor. Called the " Godfather of Punk", he was the vocalist and lyricist of proto-punk band The Stooges, who were formed in 1967 and have disbanded and reunited many times since. Initially playing a raw, primitive style of rock and roll (progressing later towards more experimental and aggressive rock), the Stooges sold few records in their original incarnation and gained a reputation for their confrontational performances, which often involved acts of self-mutilation by Pop. Fripp & Eno is a musical side-project composed of Brian Eno and Robert Fripp. The duo have released four studio albums, beginning with the 1973 album '' No Pussyfooting''.
