Lovely (2001 Film)
''Lovely'' is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by S. K. Jeeva (credited as Sakthi) who previously directed '' Pudhumai Pithan''. The film stars Karthik, Malavika, and Monal, while Vivek, Manivannan, Nizhalgal Ravi, and Vinu Chakravarthy play supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Deva. The film was released on 6 July 2001. It was remade in Telugu as ''Andamaina Abaddham'' with Raja and Kamna. Plot The movie revolves around Chandru ( Karthik) and his lover Niveditha ( Malavika) in the backdrop of Ooty. Niveditha's father Mahadevan (Manivannan) is against love marriages, and he finds out that his daughter is in love with someone. Mahadevan asks Niveditha for the details of her lover, and Niveditha as per Chandru's plan, hands over a photo of Chandru's friend Azhagesh to her father and informs him as her lover. Karthik (actor)
Murali Karthikeyan Muthuraman (born 13 September 1960), better known by his stage name Karthik, is an Indian actor, playback singer and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He is the son of veteran actor R. Muthuraman. In the 1980s and 90s, Karthik was one of the biggest stars in the industry. Pandu (19 February 1947 – 6 May 2021) was an Indian Tamil actor and graphic designer who appeared in many comedy roles in Tamil cinema. He made his acting debut in the film ''Maanavan'' (1970). A Doctor of Philosophy graduate in arts from France, he was also a visual artist who founded Capital Letters, a graphic designing company. He most notably designed the party symbol and logo of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. His brother Idichapuli Selvaraj had also previously appeared in films as a comedian. Harini (born 30 April 1979) is an Indian film playback singer and classical singer who sings in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films, working with many leading film composers. She is married to another playback singer, Tippu. Harini learnt Carnatic music from Gowri and Radha Viswanathan from the age of four.
