Love In Tokyo
''Love In Tokyo'' is a 1966 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed and produced by Pramod Chakravorty. The film was a hit at the box office. Plot A young man Ashok's (Joy Mukherjee) mother makes him go to Tokyo, Japan in search of his deceased elder brother's and his wife (also dead)'s son Ashok's nephew Chikoo. He is unhappy because he is in a loveless relationship with his fiancée Sarita. Chikoo is in an orphanage and taken in by Ashok, his uncle. Ashok tries to convince Chikoo to come back to India with him, but Chikoo refuses and runs away. Meanwhile, Mahesh (Mehmood) Ashok's friend is in love with Sheela (Shubha Khote) but her dad finds out and has goons (this is what the opening scene is) chase Mahesh, Sheela's father then takes her to Tokyo where Mahesh follows them and ends up at their shop "Indian Art Emporium", and pretends to dress up as a Sadhu Ascetic. Pramod Chakravorty
Pramod Chakravorty (15 August 1929 – 12 December 2004) was an Indian Hindi film producer and director. Career Chakravorty is best known for directing Hindi film classics like ''Ziddi (1964 film), Ziddi'', ''Love in Tokyo'', ''Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai'' in romantic genre and action films like ''Jugnu (1973 film), Jugnu'' (1973), ''Jagir'' and ''Shatru''. Mohan Choti
Mohan Choti (1935 – 1 February 1992) was an Indian actor who worked as a comedian in Hindi films. The name Mohan Choti came from a fictional character of the same name from the 1957 film '' Musafir'', in which he plays a tea shop delivery boy who sports a "choti" or traditional lock of hair on the top of his head. Biography Mohan Choti was born as Mohan Rakshakar to Constable Atmaram Rakshakar in 1933 at Amravati, Amravati District Maharashtra. Anant Balwant Dhumal (29 March 1914 – 13 February 1987), popularly known as Dhumal, was an actor in Bollywood films known for playing character roles. Asit Sen (13 May 1917 – 18 September 1993) was an Indian film director turned famous comedian in the Hindi film industry. He directed 2 films and starred in over 200 films between 1953 and 1993 until his death.
