Love In Perth
''Love in Perth'' is a 2010 Indonesian film. Starring Gita Gutawa, Iqbal Aji Daryono, Petra Sihombing, and Michella Putri, it tells the story of Lola, an Indonesian student studying in Perth, Western Australia, who falls in love with another Indonesian student, Dhani. Plot Lola (Gita Gutawa), a shy 16-year-old Indonesian girl, receives a scholarship to study at a famous high school in Perth. At first, she gets a rude welcome from her westernised roommate Tiwi (Michella Putri); Tiwi later comes to hate her. Lola also meets two fellow students, the friendly and helpful Ari (Petra Sihombing) and the aloof Dhani (Derby Romero). Although at first they fight incessantly, Lola becomes increasingly intrigued by and close to Dhani, eventually falling in love with him. Dhani, however, uses her for his own pleasure. Gita Gutawa
Aluna Sagita Gutawa (born 11 August 1993), better known as Gita Gutawa, is an Indonesian soprano, actress, and lyricist songwriter. She is also the daughter of composer Erwin Gutawa. Although she originally studied piano, Gutawa later switched to vocals. She was discovered in 2004 while practising her vocals, then booked to sing a duet with ADA Band. After ''Heaven of Love'' (2005), featuring the duet, sold 800,000 copies, Gutawa was approached by Sony Music Indonesia with an offer to record a solo album. Erwin Gutawa Sumapraja (born 16 May 1962) is an Indonesian composer. In 1985, he started his professional music career by joining the jazz band Karimata, later becoming an independent composer in 1991. As a composer, he won the 1992 Midnight Sun Song Festival in Finland together with Ruth Sahanaya.
