''Love Your Garden'' is a British lifestyle gardening programme that was first broadcast on ITV on 10 June 2011. Gardening is the practice of growing and cultivating plants as part of horticulture. Alan Titchmarsh
Alan Fred Titchmarsh HonFSE (born 2 May 1949) is an English gardener, broadcaster, TV presenter, poet, and novelist. After working as a professional gardener and a gardening journalist, he established himself as a media personality through appearances on television gardening programmes. He has developed a diverse writing and broadcasting career. Early career Alan Fred Titchmarsh was born on 2 May 1949 in Ilkley, West Riding of Yorkshire, England. He is the son of Bessie (''née'' Hardisty), a textile mill worker, and Alan Fred Titchmarsh senior, a plumber. David Martin Domoney, C Hort. FCI Hort (born 26 March 1963) is an English Chartered Horticulturist and celebrity gardener. Katie Rushworth
Katie Louise Edwards (nee Rushworth; born 9 May 1983) is a garden designer, gardener and TV presenter from Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. In 2012, she successfully auditioned for a presenting role on the ITV television series, ''Love Your Garden'' as a co-presenter alongside Alan Titchmarsh, David Domoney and Frances Tophill. She has also been commissioned as a garden designer for many attractions and centres in Northern England, such as Airedale Hospital. Frances Tophill
Frances Ruth Tophill is a British horticulturist, author, and television presenter known for her contributions to ''Love Your Garden'' and ''Gardeners' World''. She has written five books. Early life Tophill was born in Deal, Kent, and is one of three sisters. She studied for a bachelor's degree in horticulture with plantsmanship from the Scottish Agricultural College and Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh which she completed in 2013. ITV is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network. It was launched in 1955 as Independent Television to provide competition to BBC Television (established in 1936). ''Gardeners' World'' is a long-running British gardening programme, first broadcast on 5 January 1968. The 2022 series is the 53rd. Its first series was presented by Ken Burras and came from Oxford Botanical Gardens. Up until 2020 most of its episodes have been 30 minutes in duration; however, this changed in spring 2020 when the format was extended to an hour. All episodes in the 2021 series onwards follow this 60-minute format. ''Gardeners' World'' currently airs between mid-March and late October on BBC Two every Friday. The programme usually takes a three-month winter break from November to February. The programme's main presenter is currently Monty Don.
