''Love Wins Out'' (Swedish: ''Kärleken segrar'') is a 1949 Swedish drama film directed by Gustaf Molander and starring Karl-Arne Holmsten, Ingrid Thulin and Ilselil Larsen.Qvist & Von Bagh p.146 It was shot at the Råsunda Studios in Stockholm with location shooting taking place around the city at Djursholm and Bromma Airport. The film's sets were designed by the art director Nils Svenwall. Gustaf Molander
Gustaf Harald August Molander (18 November 1888 – 19 June 1973) was a Swedish actor and film director. His parents were director Harald Molander, Sr. (1858–1900) and singer and actress Lydia Molander, ''née'' Wessler, and his brother was the director Olof Molander (1892–1966). He was the father of director and producer Harald Molander from his first marriage to actress Karin Molander and father to actor Jan Molander from his second marriage to Elsa Fahlberg (1892–1977). Gustaf Molander was born in Helsingfors (now Helsinki) in the Grand Duchy of Finland (in the Russian Empire), where his father was working at the Swedish Theatre. He studied in the school of the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm 1907–1909, acted at the Swedish theatre in Helsingfors 1909–1913, and then at the Royal Dramatic Theatre from 1913 to 1926. Djursholm
Djursholm () is one of four suburban districts in, and the seat of Danderyd Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. Djursholm is included in the multi-municipal Stockholm urban area. Claus Wiese
Claus Wiese (March 1, 1924 – September 7, 1987) was a Norwegian actor and American-based radio broadcaster. Wiese was born in Lillestrøm. He graduated from the Oslo Cathedral School in 1944 and worked as an actor with the Oslo New Theater from 1945 to 1951. Wiese debuted in the film ''Englandsfarere'' in 1946. He married an American, Joan Ann Trapp, on August 12, 1950. Wiese worked as a film editor at the TV station WNAC in Boston, Massachusetts from 1952 to 1954, was head of programming at WMTW in Poland Spring, Maine from 1954 to 1975 and business director at the same station from 1975 to 1982, and became the station manager at WMTV in Auburn, Maine in 1982. In 1961, he and his wife moved to Bethel, Maine, where they owned and operated the Norseman Inn for 25 years. Claus Wiese was the brother of the author and former administrative director at J.W. Olof Winnerstrand
Carl Olof Magnus Winnerstrand (26 August 1875 – 16 July 1956) was a Swedish actor. Biography Born in a bourgeois home in Stockholm, Winnerstrand was a son of the well-known Stockholm goldsmith and jeweller C.A. Winnerstrand, and started out in his father's footsteps, learning the trade. His parents opposed his acting dreams and, being loyal to a promise to his father, he took over the family business when his father died in 1899, and worked a couple of years as goldsmith.
