Louisville High School (Ohio)
Louisville High School is a public high school located in Louisville, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Louisville City School District. It serves all of the city of Louisville and the majority of the surrounding Nimishillen Township. History The first schoolhouse within Louisville was a one-room log cabin located on the corner of Nickelplate and Main Streets. It was built in the 1840s and was replaced by a two-room brick edifice in the 1850s. This new school was located on the northeast corner of Mill and Broad Streets. In 1872, Louisville's seat of learning was moved again to another two-room brick building, located upon South Chapel Street. Louisville's students moved to a larger, four-classroom building on the corner of Mill and Gorgas Street in 1876, where Louisville's current City Hall building now stands.Smith, Kenneth R. Louisville, Ohio
Louisville ( /ˈluːɪsvɪl/) is a city in Stark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 9,521 at the time of the 2020 census. Located northeast of Canton, it is a suburb of the Canton–Massillon metropolitan area. History On October 8, 1834, Louisville was formally settled by Henry Lautzenheiser, from Germany, and Henry Fainot, a French Huguenot. The city was named after Lautzenheiser's son, Lewis, and called Lewisville, Ohio. The name of the town was also considered appropriate because it was initially surveyed by the similar-sounding name of Lewis Vail. When the post office was established in 1837, with Sam Petree as its first postmaster, it was discovered Ohio already had a Lewisville, so the spelling was changed to Louisville. Ohio State Buckeyes Football
The Ohio State Buckeyes football team competes as part of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, representing Ohio State University in the East Division of the Big Ten Conference. Ohio State has played their home games at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio since 1922. OMEA
The Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) is the Ohio state-level affiliate of MENC: The National Association for Music Education. Of the 52 federated state affiliates of MENC, the OMEA is the third largest and is one of only two state-level affiliate chartered as a "music education association" rather than a "music educators association." The OMEA was founded in 1924 in as the Ohio School Band Association (OSBA) by fourteen band directors "to promote high school band contests" in Ohio. In 1929, the OSBA changed its name to the Ohio School Band and Orchestra Association (OSBOA) to reflect its newly expanded emphasis including school orchestras. American Football

OHSAA
The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is the governing body of athletic programs for junior and senior high schools in the state of Ohio. West Branch High School is a public high school in Beloit, Ohio, United States. The high school was established in 1960 It is the only high school in the West Branch Local School District. The Eastern Buckeye Conference is an OHSAA athletic league that began competition in the 2018–19 school year. The Northeastern Buckeye Conference (NBC), was an OHSAA high school athletic conference that comprised eight high schools in Northeast Ohio.
