Lori-Ann Matte
Lori-Ann Matte (born June 30, 1999) is a Canadian pair skater. With her skating partner, Thierry Ferland, she is the 2018 Canadian national junior champion and finished within the top ten at two World Junior Championships (2017, 2018). Personal life Lori-Ann Matte was born June 30, 1999, in Yongxiu, China, and grew up in Lévis, Quebec, Canada. As of 2018, she is enrolled at Collège de Rosemont in Montréal. Career Early years Matte began learning to skate in 2004. She teamed up with Thierry Ferland around 2010. The pair won the novice bronze medal at the 2015 Canadian Figure Skating Championships, 2015 Canadian Championships and the novice silver medal at the 2015 Canada Winter Games. The 2017 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships was held January 16–22, 2017 in Ottawa, Ontario. It was organized by Skate Canada and sponsored by Canadian Tire. 2021 ISU World Team Trophy In Figure Skating
The 2021 ISU World Team Trophy is an international figure skating competition that was held from April 15–18, 2021 in Osaka, Japan. The top six International Skating Union members were invited to compete in a team format with points awarded based on skaters' placement. 2021 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2021 World Figure Skating Championships were held in Stockholm, Sweden from March 22–28, 2021. Figure skaters competed for the title of world champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition was used to determine the entry quotas for each federation at the 2022 World Championships and was the first qualification event for the 2022 Winter Olympics. Stockholm was announced as the host in June 2018. It was the first time that Stockholm had hosted the World Championships since 1947 and the first time that Sweden had hosted since 2008. 2020 Skate Canada International
The 2020 Skate Canada International was scheduled to be the second event in the 2020–21 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It would have been held at TD Place Arena in Ottawa, Ontario on October 30–31. Medals were to be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance.
