Long In The Tooth is an EP by PIG (Raymond Watts) and Primitive Race released June 5, 2015 through Metropolis Records. The EP contains three new songs and various remixes by Army of the Universe, Mary Byker, Praga Kahn and more. It is the first release by the industrial supergroup Primitive Race. Raymond Watts (also known by his former stage names Nainz, Nainz Watts and Ray Scaballero) is an English musician, the founding and sole member of the industrial music project PIG, sometimes written as <PIG>. Watts was an early member and periodic collaborator of KMFDM, and has been a visible part of the industrial music scene since the early 1980s. He has toured with KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, Schaft, Schwein, and Einstürzende Neubauten. Primitive Race is an international industrial supergroup created by Chris Kniker and featuring Raymond Watts (PIG, KMFDM), Dave Ogilvie (Skinny Puppy), Mark Gemini Thwaite ( Peter Murphy, Spear of Destiny, Tricky, Mob Research, The Mission, Gary Numan), Erie Loch (LUXT, Blownload, Exageist), Chuck Mosley (Faith No More), Graham Crabb (Pop Will Eat Itself) and Kourtney Klein (Combichrist, Nitzer Ebb). The project began as a social media campaign on Twitter and has since incorporated a successful crowd funding element on Indiegogo. Industrial music is a genre of music that draws on harsh, mechanical, transgressive or provocative sounds and themes. Army Of The Universe
Army of the Universe is an Italian industrial dance band, now located in Los Angeles, formed in 2008 by trance and techno producer Albert Vorne (aka Trebla) and vocalist Lord K, lead singer of Kult of the Skull God. The band also includes guitarist Dave Tavecchia. and drummer Giuseppe Amato. Style The band has been described as similar in style to industrial bands of the 1990s such as Nine Inch Nails and Ministry. Ian Garfield Hoxley, known by his stage name Mary Byker (a.k.a. Mary Mary) (born 20 December 1963), is an English singer, record producer and DJ known for his work as the lead singer of Gaye Bykers on Acid, Pop Will Eat Itself, Pigface and Apollo 440. Biography Early life Byker was born on 20 December 1963 in Sprowston, a suburb of Norwich, to father Ken Hoxley and mother Wendy Hoxley. Byker spent his early years living in Long Melford and Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk before his family relocated to Leicestershire in 1970. He attended the Kibworth Primary School, Kibworth High School and Robert Smyth School in Market Harborough. Maurice Joseph François Engelen (born 7 January 1959), known by his stage name Praga Khan, is a Belgian electronic musician. Khan is considered one of the leading pioneers of the new beat/acid house/techno electronic dance music scene that originated in Belgium. Khan has also contributed to the theatrical scene with his musical collaborations in ''The Next Dimension'' and ''Code Red''. A supergroup is a musical group whose members are successful as solo artists or as members of other successful groups. The term became popular in the late 1960s when members of already successful rock groups recorded albums together, after which they normally disband.
