London Marathon Ever Presents
The Ever Presents are a group of people who have run the London Marathon at each event since the first event in 1981. In 1995 the group was first recognised with 42 members. A person is considered to no longer be an Ever Present if they do not run the race in a given year. After the 2021 race, there were seven remaining members of the group. The group's youngest member is Chris Finill who, from 1981 to 2013, completed every race in under 3 hours, earning a Guinness World Record for this consistent high performance. The 2010 London Marathon was the 30th running of the annual marathon race in London, England, which took place on Sunday, 25 April. The elite men's race was won by Ethiopia's Tsegaye Kebede in a time of 2:05:19 hours and the elite women's race was won by Aselefech Mergia, also of Ethiopia, in 2:22:38. The 2012 London Marathon was the 32nd running of the annual marathon race in London, England, which took place on Sunday, 22 April. Both of the elite races were won by Kenyan athletes, and Ethiopia's Tsegaye Kebede was the only non-Kenyan to reach the podium in either race. Belgrave Harriers
Belgrave Harriers, founded in October 1887, is an athletics club in Britain, with headquarters located in Wimbledon, close to Wimbledon Common. As of February 2013, they had the most successful record in the history of the British Athletics League, with 11 titles. In the early days, the clubs's administrative headquarters were at the Kings Arms public house in Belgravia, central London, and races were held along the Embankment of the River Thames and also over the common lands south of London, particularly on Wimbledon Common. These days, Belgrave's home track is located at the Millennium Arena, Battersea Park and club members, known as 'Belgravians', train there on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Birchfield Harriers
Birchfield Harriers is an athletics club, founded in 1877. Its home is at Birmingham's Alexander Stadium, England. As well as welcoming recreational runners they cater for all levels of experience up to and including Olympic athletes whether able-bodied or wheelchair-using athletes. The Club's motto is ''Fleet and Free''. History The Harriers were named after the Birchfield district of Birmingham. Their previous home (from 1929-77), at nearby Perry Barr, was Alexander Sports Ground.
