Lomelda
Lomelda is the stage name of musician Hannah Read. According to Read, Lomelda is a made-up word that means "echo of the stars". Career Read was raised in Silsbee, Texas. She began her music career playing in bands with her brother and with high school friends. Read's first full-length album, ''Forever'', was released in 2015. In 2017, she released her second full-length album, ''Thx'', with the independent record label Double Double Whammy. The album was co-produced with Read's brother Tommy. It was written over a few months while Read was sleeping in her car. In July 2017, ''Stereogum'' named Lomelda one of their "Bands To Watch". Her next album, M for Empathy, ''M for Empathy'', was released on March 1, 2019. Despite having 11 songs, the album clocks a total of 16 minutes. M for Empathy, ''M for Empathy'' marked Read’s emerging use of piano to add to her customary guitar-oriented songs, as the primary instrument for the song “Bunk” and prominent in other songs including ...

Hovvdy
Hovvdy is an American Indie pop duo from Austin, Texas. History The duo began their career releasing an EP in 2014. The following year, they released a split with the band Loafer. Hovvdy released their debut album, ''Taster'', in 2016. In 2018, Hovvdy released their second full-length album titled ''Cranberry''. In 2019, the duo released a split with musician Hannah Read, known as Lomelda. The split found Hovvdy and Lomelda covering each others songs. The two also went on a summer tour to promote the split. The duo's third album, ''Heavy Lifter'', was released in 2019. The bands fourth album, ''True Love'', was released on October 1, 2021. Greta Simone Kline (born March 21, 1994), formerly known by the stage name Frankie Cosmos, is an American musician and singer-songwriter. She is known for her independent releases, inspired by Frank O'Hara's poetry, DIY ethics of K Records and the early 2000s New York City's anti-folk scene. She is the daughter of actors Kevin Kline and Phoebe Cates. Her former stage name "Frankie Cosmos" is now the name of her band. Early life Kline was born on March 21, 1994, in New York City, the daughter of Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Kline and actress Phoebe Cates. Her father is of German-Jewish and Irish descent and her mother has Russian-Jewish and Chinese-Filipino ancestry. She has one older brother, Owen Kline, who is an actor and filmmaker.
