Lokenath Bal
Lokenath Bal ( bn, লোকনাথ বল) (8 March 1908 – 4 September 1964) was an Indian independence activist and a member of the armed resistance movement led by Surya Sen, which carried out the Chittagong armoury raid in 1930.Chandra, Bipan and others (1998). Harigopal Bal
Harigopal Bal or Baul ( bn, হরিগোপাল বল) popularly called as Tegra (1915 — 22 April 1930) was a Bengali revolutionary who took part in revolutionary activities against British rule in India. Bal was born in 1915, at the village Kanungopara in Chittagong, Bengal (now in Bangladesh). His father was Pran Krishna Bal. Harigopal Bal joined the revolutionaries and took part in the Chittagong Armoury Raid on 18 April 1930 with his elder brother Lokenath Bal. After the abortive raid, Bal escaped. Four days later, he was injured after being shot while fighting against British troops on Jalalabad Hill, near Chittagong. He died on 22 April 1930. Manabendra Nath Roy
Manabendra Nath Roy (born Narendra Nath Bhattacharya, better known as M. N. Roy; 21 March 1887 – 25 January 1954) was an Indian revolutionary, radical activist and political theorist, as well as a noted philosopher in the 20th century. Roy was the founder of the Mexican Communist Party and the Communist Party of India (Tashkent group). He was also a delegate to congresses of the Communist International and Russia's aide to China. Radical Democratic Party (RDP), was a political party in India which existed at the time of the Second World War. Also known as the Radical Communist Party. RDP evolved out of the League of Radical Congressmen, which had been founded in 1939 by former Communist International leader M.N. Roy. Roy founded Radical Democratic Party in 1940 with the purpose of engaging India in the war to support the Allies. RDP also worked for Indian independence. Jiban Ghoshal
Jiban Ghoshal alias Makhanlal (26 June 1912 — 1 September 1930) was an Indian independence activist and a member of the armed resistance movement led by ''Masterda'' Surya Sen, which carried out the Chittagong armoury raid in 1930. Revolutionary activities Ghoshal was born in a Brahmin family in Sadarghat, Chittagong, in British India. He was popularly known as Makhanlal. He joined in the freedom movement in student life. Ghoshal took active part in the police armoury raid at Chattagram. After the operation he fled from Chittagong towards Calcutta with another young revolutionary Ananda Gupta. Two senior member of the group, Ganesh Ghosh and Ananta Singh accompanied them in their journey. Ganesh Ghosh

Biography Ganesh Ghosh born in a Kayastha family which hailed from Chittagong, now in Bangladesh. In 1922, he took admission in the Bengal Technical Institute in Calcutta. Later, he became a member of the Chittagong Jugantar party. He participated in the Chittagong armoury raid, along with Surya Sen and other revolutionaries on 18 April 1930. He fled from Chittagong and took shelter in Chandannagar, Hooghly. After few days police commissioner Charles Tegart attacked the safe house of them in Chandannagar and arrested him.
