Ljubiša Stanković
Ljubiša Stanković ( sr-cyrl, Љубиша Станковић; born June 1, 1960) is a doctor in signal processing, while also being the former Rector (2003-2008) and University Board President (2008-2011) for the University of Montenegro. Since March 27, 2011 he is also the Ambassador of Montenegro to the United Kingdom. Stanković was born in Andrijevica, Montenegro. In 2011, he was elected to the European Academy of Arts and Sciences. The University of Montenegro ( cnr, Универзитет Црнe Горe / Univerzitet Crne Gore) is a national public university of Montenegro. Its central administration and majority of constitutive faculties are located in the country's capital Podgorica, with dislocated faculties in Nikšić, Cetinje and Kotor. Andrijevica
Andrijevica (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Андријевица, ) is a town and the seat of Andrijevica Municipality in eastern Montenegro. According to the 2011 census, it has a population of 1,048. History The town of Andrijevica is a relatively new settlement, as its first rudiments begin in the middle of the nineteenth century. However, the territory the municipality is for a long time the area of human activity and space with numerous settlements that appeared and disappeared during the history. Archaeological research of the ''Institute for monuments protection'' from Cetinje in 1956, it was discovered that traces of materialculture from Neolithic period exist in Berane valley. In addition, traces of the Illyrian culture were found also, so it can be assumed that the environment of Andrijevica was ecumenical space of numerous groups of people.
