Halestorm is an American rock band from Red Lion, Pennsylvania, consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale, her drummer brother Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger, and bassist Josh Smith. The group's self-titled debut album was released on April 28, 2009, through Atlantic Records. Their second album '' The Strange Case Of...'' was released on April 10, 2012. Its lead single "Love Bites (So Do I)" won the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance on February 10, 2013. Their third album, ''Into the Wild Life'' (2015), peaked at number five on the ''Billboard'' 200. The Theatre of Living Arts (known commonly as the TLA) is a concert venue located on South Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The venue, which opened in 1988, dates back to the early 1900s as a nickelodeon. Over the years, the venue has seen many incarnations ranging from concert hall to movie theatre to theatre. Known for its acoustics, it was voted as one of the best concert venues in America by ''Complex''. History The theatre opened in 1908 as the "Crystal Palace", seating nearly 700. In 1927, the venue became a concert hall. In 1941, Warner Bros. Circuit Management Corporation took over management of the venue converting it into a movie theatre. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. ''Halestorm'' is the debut studio album by American Rock music, rock band Halestorm. It was released in 2009 by Atlantic Records. The record was produced by Howard Benson and includes a collaboration with Evanescence's former member Ben Moody as a co-writer in the track "Innocence". ''Halestorm'' received generally mixed reviews from music critics. Commercially, the album was a modest success, debuting at number 40 on the US Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200. "I Get Off" is the debut single by American hard rock band Halestorm, released on March 10, 2009, from their 2009 self-titled debut album. The song was written by lead singer Lzzy Hale with its producer, Howard Benson, and Dana Calitri, Kathy Sommer, and Nina Ossoff. Lyrically, the song describes deriving pleasure from sexual exhibitionism. Critical reception Tim Grierson of About.com wrote that "I Get Off" is "low-grade stripper-rock" that finds Hale "belting her sexual devotion in a rather unappealing way."
