Little Gull Island is an island in Fairbanks Township, Delta County, Michigan. The island is located at the mouth of the bay of Green Bay in Lake Michigan. It is part of a chain of islands that are outcroppings of the Niagara Escarpment. Little Gull Island is in size and under a mile south of Gull Island. Green Bay (Lake Michigan)
Green Bay is an arm of Lake Michigan, located along the south coast of Michigan's Upper Peninsula and the east coast of Wisconsin. Niagara Escarpment
The Niagara Escarpment is a long escarpment, or cuesta, in Canada and the United States that runs predominantly east–west from New York through Ontario, Michigan, Wisconsin, and into Illinois. The escarpment is most famous as the cliff over which the Niagara River plunges at Niagara Falls, for which it is named. The escarpment is a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. The reserve has the oldest forest ecosystem and trees in eastern North America. The escarpment is not a fault line but the result of unequal erosion.
