Little Door Gods
''Little Door Gods'' (), also known as ''Door Guardians'', or ''The Guardian Brothers'' in the US, is a 2015 Chinese animated fantasy comedy film directed and written by Gary Wang, produced by Light Chaser Animation Studios and distributed by Alibaba Pictures. It was originally released in China on January 1, 2016. An English-language version that is 20 minutes shorter premiered on Netflix on September 1, 2017. It is the last film to be fully co-produced by The Weinstein Company, following a series of sexual assault cases against its founder, Harvey Weinstein. Gary Wang
Gary Wang or Wang Wei (; born May 8, 1973) is a Chinese entrepreneur. He is the founder of the Chinese video sharing company Tudou.com and served as its CEO until August 2012. He is currently the founder of Light Chaser Animation Studios, an animation studio based in Beijing. Wang is also a novelist, screenwriter, and playwright. He holds a Computer Science degree from the Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from INSEAD. He received his bachelor's degree in international business from the College of Staten Island, CUNY, in 1995. Douban.com (), launched on 6 March 2005, is a Chinese online database and social networking service that allows registered users to record information and create content related to film, books, music, recent events, and activities in Chinese cities. Douban is named after a Hutong in Chaoyang District, Beijing where the founder lived while he began work on the website. Douban was formerly open to both registered and unregistered users. For registered users, the website recommends potentially interesting books, movies, and music to them in addition to serving as a social network website such as WeChat, Weibo and record keeper. For unregistered users, the website is a place to find ratings and reviews of media. Shentu or Shenshu ( zh, t=神荼) and Yulü or Yulei ( zh, t=鬱壘, s=郁垒) are a pair of deities in Chinese mythology who punished evil spirits by binding them in reed ropes and feeding them to tigers.
