Television broadcasting in Malaysia is provided by the federal government and respective private broadcasting companies. The government is committed to provide digital television to every Malaysian's household by end-2015 under DTTV (Digital Terrestrial Television) Project which is a part of national agenda by Ministry of Communications and Digital and managed by Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). The analogue transmissions were completely turned off on 31 October 2019 and switched to full myFreeview Digital TV broadcast using DVB-T2 technology. The switchover was done in stages by territory which begun in all peninsular states starting from the central and southern on 30 September 2019, north and east on 14 October 2019 and Sabah and Sarawak on 31 October 2019. Berita RTM (, stylised as BERITA rtm), also known as Saluran Berita RTM (), or BES (Berita Ehwal Semasa, ) is a free-to-air Malaysian television network owned and operated by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM). Sukan RTM (, formerly known as RTM HD, RTM HD Sports and RTM Sports, stylised as SUKAN rtm) is a Malaysian sports channel provided by RTM. The service was initially run as a trial from 2008, when it started during the Beijing Olympic Games and ended after the Summer Olympics finished. 10 years later, on 13 June 2018, RTM HD was officially launched as a trial broadcast exclusively on MYTV Broadcasting on channel 111. Bajaw is the language of the Bajaw, widely known as the ' sea gypsies' of Maritime Southeast Asia. Central Dusun, also known as Bunduliwan (Dusun: ), is one of the more widespread languages spoken by the Dusun (including Kadazan) peoples of Sabah, Malaysia.
