This list does not include the Sky Tower in Auckland, which is taller than the buildings listed but is considered a freestanding structure instead. The Rialto is a central area of Venice, Italy, in the '' sestiere'' of San Polo. It is, and has been for many centuries, the financial and commercial heart of the city. Rialto is known for its prominent markets as well as for the monumental Rialto Bridge across the Grand Canal. Rialto (often The Rialto, or Rialto Towers) is a skyscraper located at 525 Collins Street, in the western side of the central business district of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It was the tallest office building in the Southern Hemisphere when it was constructed.
