Seth Edulji Dinshaw
Seth Edulji (or Eduljee) Dinshaw (18 May 1842 - 8 May 1914) was a Karachi-based Parsis, Parsi philanthropist during the British India, British colonial era. Dinshaw had risen from poverty, and became the largest landowner in the city. Business interests Dinshaw was born in Karachi on 18 May 1842. Nishtar Road or Nishter Road is one of the major roads in Karachi, Pakistan. It runs from Jehangir Road to Chakiwara Road. During the colonial era the road was named Lawrence Road, possibly for Sir John Lawrence, Viceroy and Governor-General of India. Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas ( ur, ) was a Pakistani pilot in the Pakistan Air Force. Minhas was the only PAF officer to receive the highest valour award, the Nishan-e-Haider. He was also the youngest person and the shortest-serving officer to have received this award.
