Aden Madobe
Adan Mohamed Nuur Madobe ( so, Aaden Maxamed Nuur Madoobe, ar, آدم محمد نور مادوبي, Maay: Sheeg Ethyng Mothoowy, born 15 April 1956), popularly known as Aden Madobe, is the current Speaker of the Lower House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia. He previously served as the First Deputy Chairman of the Rahanweyn Resistance Army, before later joining the newly formed Transitional Federal Government (TFG) of Somalia as Justice Minister and Speaker of the Transitional Federal Parliament. From 29 December 2008 to 31 January 2009, Madobe briefly served as acting president of Somalia. In January 2014, he was appointed Minister of Industry and Commerce. Sheikh Mukhtar Mohamed Hussein
Sheikh Mukhtar Mohamed Hussein ( so, Sheekh Mukhtaar Maxamed Xuseen, ar, الشيخ محمد حسين مختار; December 9, 1912 – June 12, 2012) was the Speaker of the Parliament of Somalia, and briefly an Acting President of Somalia in 1969. Early life Hussein was born into a Hadame family (part of the larger Rahaweyn clan), in the central town of Xuddur in the Bakool Bakool ( so, Bakool, Maay: ''Bokool'', ar, بكول) is a region ('' gobol'') in southwestern Somalia. Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan ( so, Shariif Xasan Sheekh Aadan, ar, شريف حسن الشيخ آدم; is a Somali politician. He is a former Minister of Finance of Somalia, and the last Speaker of the Transitional Federal Parliament (TFP). Career Speaker of Parliament (1st term) In 2005, Sheikh Sharif Hassan was opposed to the establishment of a new capital in Jowhar, which was the preference of President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed and Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Ghedi, demanding the capital be returned to Mogadishu. Abdallah Isaaq Deerow
Abdallah Deerow Isaaq ( so, Cabdalle Deeroow Isaaq, ar, عبد الله اسحاق ديرو; 1950 – 2006), sometimes Abdullah Deerow Isaq, was a Somali politician. He served as the first Speaker of Parliament in the Transitional National Government of Somalia from 2000 to 2003, and was later the Minister of Constitutional and Federal Affairs in the Transitional Federal Government. He was assassinated in July 2006. Political career Deerow is a member of the Rahaweyn clan and was a representative of that clan at the 2000 Somalia National Peace Conference (the Djibouti Conference). Hussein Kulmiye Afrah ( so, Xuseen Kulmiye Afrax, ar, أفراح حسين) (1920 – 1993) was Vice President of Somalia in the era of Siad Barre between 1972 and 1990. He was also a member of the Supreme Revolutionary Council. Post Civil War Following the outbreak of the civil war in 1991, Kulmiye among other Hawiye Officers were not arrested nor expelled from Mogadishu. Mohamed Ibrahim Liqliqato (1921, Kismayo, Italian Somaliland – 1998) was a Somali military and political leader, worked as an ambassador, minister, speaker of the Parliament and was prominent figure of Siyad Barre's rule in Somalia.
