South Korean pop duo TVXQ, known as in Japanese releases, have released 7 Korean studio albums, 8 Japanese studio albums, one Korean EP, three Japanese compilations albums, 22 official Korean singles, and 49 official Japanese singles. They have collaborated with other artists for their album and promotional releases. TVXQ debuted as a five-piece boy band in di2003 under S.M. TVXQ (stylized as TVXQ!), an initialism for Tong Vfang Xien Qi (), is a South Korean male pop duo consisting of U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin. They are known as in Japanese releases, and are sometimes referred to as DBSK, an abbreviation of their Korean name Dong Bang Shin Ki (). Their name roughly translates to "Rising Gods of the East". Formed by SM Entertainment in 2003, TVXQ began as a five-member boy band composed of members U-Know Yunho, Max Changmin, Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu. They were immediately launched to mainstream recognition following the release of their first physical single "Hug" (2004), which peaked at number four on the MIAK monthly music chart. "Android" (stylized as "ANDROID") is the 35th Japanese single by South Korean pop duo Tohoshinki. It was released on July 11, 2012 as the third single from their sixth Japanese studio album, ''Time'' (2013). The digital single reached a total of 3.1 million in sales, the highest of any foreign artist in the country. "Android" was released in three editions – a CD+DVD version, a CD-only version, and a Bigeast Board edition. Produced and co-written by Emil Carlin, "Android" is a dubstep song with a futuristic theme. ''T'' is the third Japanese studio album (sixth overall) by South Korean pop group Tohoshinki, released on January 22, 2008 by Rhythm Zone. It at #4 on the Oricon weekly charts. The album's biggest competition in sales was with Zard's "Zard Request Best: Beautiful Memory", the last album after its lead vocalist Izumi Sakai's death in 2007. According to the members, the "T" stands for several things, such as "Tohoshinki", "Title", "Third" album, "Top" and "Try". It could also stand for "Trick/Trust" and the group's "Teamwork".
