André Charles Jean Popp (19 February 1924 – 10 May 2014) was a French composer, arranger and screenwriter. Biography Popp was born into a family of German-Dutch background, in Fontenay-le-Comte, Vendée. He started his career as a church organist, filling the place of the abbot who had been called up to serve in World War II in 1939. Popp studied music at the Saint Joseph Institute. In the 1950s he worked for the French radio station RTF, composing music for the ''Club d'Essai'' and, from 1953 to 1960, ''La Bride sur le cou''. Per Magnusson (born 30 May 1969) is a Swedish music producer and songwriter. His musical career took off in 1994 as one of the original team members of the now-legendary Cheiron Productions, meeting great international success working with Boyzone, Britney Spears, Westlife and the Backstreet Boys. "I Believe in You (Je crois en toi)" is a duet by Celine Dion and Il Divo, released as the third and last single from Dion's ''On ne change pas'' album (2005), and first and only from Il Divo's ''Ancora'' (2005). At first, on 23 January 2006 "I Believe in You" was released as a radio single in the United States. The commercial single was issued 1 May 2006 in France and Switzerland. It was also released as a radio single in Canada, in May 2006. Background and release Luc Plamondon, with whom Dion worked in 1991 on her '' Dion chante Plamondon'' album, wrote French lyrics for the song. There was no music video made for the song. Dion and Il Divo promoted "I Believe in You" in various French television shows, performing it in late 2005. The single peaked at number 30 in France and number 35 in Switzerland. Sergio Bardotti (14 February 1939 – 11 April 2007) was an Italian lyricist, composer and record producer. Life and career Born in Pavia, Bardotti studied piano for seven years and graduated from conservatory with a degree in Theory and Solfeggio. After having performed in nightclubs with the stage name Sergio Dotti, he moved to Rome, employed by RCA for his literary branch. "Amico è" is a 1983 song composed by Dario Baldan Bembo (music), Nini Giacomelli and Sergio Bardotti (lyrics), and performed by Baldan Bembo and Caterina Caselli. A hymn to friendship, "Amico è" was the ending theme song of the Mike Bongiorno's quiz show ''SuperFlash''. André Pascal (1932–2001), born André Pascal Nicolas di Fusco in Marseille, was a French songwriter and composer. History As an adolescent he was already well versed in French poetry from François Villon to Alfred de Vigny. He could express himself in Alexandrian couplets, and he started to write.
