Singer-songwriter
A singer-songwriter is a musician who writes, composes, and performs their own musical material, including lyrics and melodies. In the United States, the category is built on the folk-acoustic tradition, although this role has transmuted through different eras of popular music. Singer-songwriters often provide the sole accompaniment to an entire composition or song, typically using a guitar or piano. In the early 21st century, digital production tools such as GarageBand began to be used by singer-songwriters to compose their music. Abel Balbo
Abel Eduardo Balbo (; born 1 June 1966) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a striker. He is the current manager of Estudiantes de La Plata. Balbo played for various clubs in Argentina and Italy during the course of his career. He was also an Argentine international. Club career Balbo was born in Empalme Villa Constitución, Santa Fe. At club level, Balbo played for Newell's Old Boys (1987–88), River Plate (1988–89), before moving to Italy and Udinese (1989–93), Roma (1993–98 and 2000–02), Parma (1998–99), and Fiorentina. He played four games for Boca Juniors before finally retiring. Gustavo Cerati
Gustavo Adrián Cerati (11 August 1959 – 4 September 2014) was an Argentine singer-songwriter, composer and producer, considered one of the most important and influential figures of Ibero-American rock. Cerati along with his band Soda Stereo, were one of the most popular and influential rock and pop groups of the 1980s and 1990s. Cerati was the recipient of many awards throughout his career including various Grammys, MTV awards, as well as the MTV (Latin America) Legend Award with Soda Stereo, the first of its kind. On 15 May 2010, Cerati suffered a massive brain stroke in Caracas following a concert; the stroke left him in a coma, and four years later, on 4 September 2014, Cerati died of cardiac arrest in Buenos Aires aged 55. Carlos Casella is an Argentinean actor, dancer, choreographer and singer. Biography Carlos Casella began his artistic career as a leading voice at White Model musical group. Jorge Antonio Cafrune ( Perico Del Carmen, Jujuy, August 8, 1937 – Buenos Aires, February 1, 1978) was one of the most popular Argentine folklorist singers of his time, as well as an unflagging researcher, compilator, and diffuser of the native culture. Biography Jorge Cafrune was born in the ''estancia'' "La Matilde" of El Sunchal, Perico Del Carmen, Jujuy in a family of Syrian–Lebanese origin. Manuel Buzón
Manuel Buzón (December 18, 1904 – July 14, 1954) was a tango pianist, singer, leader and composer. Buzón was born in Las Flores district of Buenos Aires, to Spanish immigrants Manuel and Dolores Moreno. He was a performer from an early age, at the age of 10 he performed at a Club Social América event. In 1925 Buzón became a regular performer on Argentine radio. Germán Adrián Ramón Burgos (; born 16 April 1969), nicknamed El Mono Burgos (), is an Argentine retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, currently a manager.
