La Palapa
La Palapa is a restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Description and reception La Palapa, located along the Malecón at Playa de los Muertos in Zona Romántica, specializes in seafood. According to ''Los Angeles'' magazine, the restaurant "has barefoot dining with unobstructed views of the sunset and the beautifully lit" Los Muertos Pier. Bentley's Oyster Bar and Grill is a restaurant at 11-15 Swallow Street, London, which opened in 1916. The restaurant, previously known as Bentley's, has always specialised in oysters. History Bentley's was owned for some years by Oscar Owide, "once one of London's favourites but in Owide's ownership, a rather shabby place". Owide still owned it in 2004. The Ashvale
The Ashvale is a chain of fish and chip restaurants and takeaways in the north-east of Scotland. The main restaurant, which opened in 1979, is on Great Western Road in Aberdeen. There are other restaurants and takeaways in Banchory, Portlethen, Brechin, Dundee, Elgin, Ellon and Inverurie. By the mid-1990s the restaurant complex in Aberdeen had 300 seats and was open 7 days a week. In 2004, the chain served about 30,000 customers each week, selling approximately 18,000 fillets of fish. Its successful strategy is to buy fish of the best quality but to sell it at the same price as the competition. Its margins are therefore lower but it makes up for this with high volume, staying open from noon to 1 am, seven days a week, and being fairly busy throughout. Anstruther Fish Bar
The Anstruther Fish Bar is a fish and chip shop in Anstruther, a fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. History The Bar is situated on Shore Street, the harbour front in Anstruther, and is particularly popular with tourists. It sells take-away fish and chips, which are often consumed at the public seating area opposite the shop, where local fishermen land crab and lobster. Sturehof is a seafood and shellfish restaurant located on the Stureplan in central Stockholm, Sweden. History The origins of the restaurant are generally traced to 1897, when Ernst Marcus opened a beer bar called Malta in the building. However, another establishment had been located on the same premises since 1887, which explains why Sturehof celebrated its 130th anniversary in 2017. The name Sturehof was adopted in 1905, and the restaurant was run by the Marcus family until 1976. It now belongs to Svenska Brasserier, a restaurant company that operates a few establishments on and around the Stureplan. Jumbo Seafood is a Singaporean restaurant chain specialising in the seafood aspects of Singaporean cuisine and dishes, such as Chili crab. NORDSEE is a German fast-food restaurant chain specialising in seafood. In addition to selling raw and smoked seafood, the company also sells a wide variety of meals and products prepared from seafood such as Fischbrötchen (fish sandwiches), salads, and canned seafood.
