+44 (read as Plus Forty-four) was an American rock supergroup formed in Los Angeles, California in 2005. The group consisted of vocalist and bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker of Blink-182, lead guitarist Shane Gallagher of The Nervous Return, and rhythm guitarist Craig Fairbaugh of Mercy Killers. Hoppus and Barker created +44 shortly after the initial 2005 breakup of Blink-182 and before it was later reformed. The band's name refers to the international dialing code of the United Kingdom, the country where the duo first discussed the project. Early recordings were largely electronic in nature, and featured vocals by Carol Heller, formerly of the all-girl punk quartet Get the Girl. The band's sound gradually took on a heavier tone as Hoppus and Barker purchased a studio in which to record. Working Class
The working class (or labouring class) comprises those engaged in manual-labour occupations or industrial work, who are remunerated via waged or salaried contracts. The East End of London, often referred to within the London area simply as the East End, is the historic core of wider East London, east of the Roman and medieval walls of the City of London and north of the River Thames. It does not have universally accepted boundaries to the north and east, though the River Lea is sometimes seen as the eastern boundary. The 4-Skins
The 4-Skins are an English people, English Working class, working-class Oi! band from the East End of London, England. Originally composed of Gary Hodges (vocals), Hoxton Tom McCourt, 'Hoxton' Tom McCourt (Guitarist, guitar), Steve 'H' Hamer (Bassist, bass) and John Jacobs (Drummer, drums), the group was formed in 1979 and disbanded in 1984 – although new line-ups formed in 2007 and 2008. Many of their songs dealt with violent topics, but the band has claimed they were discussing the realities of inner city life, not promoting violence. Other 4-Skins song topics include Police misconduct, police harassment, political corruption, war and unemployment. Career The band members first met each other through mutual interest in football (soccer), football or in bands such as Sham 69 and Menace. Frankston, Victoria
Frankston is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Frankston local government area. Frankston recorded a population of 37,331 at the 2021 census. Due to its geographic location north of the Mornington Peninsula, it is often referred to as "the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula". 28 Days (band)
28 Days are an Australian punk rock band, which formed in 1997, by mainstay members Jay Dunne as lead vocalist, guitarist Simon Hepburn, and bassist Damian Gardiner. Their second studio album ''Upstyledown'' (July 2000), peaked at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart. Their singles, "Rip It Up" (May 2000), "Say What?" (November 2001) and "What's the Deal?" (October 2002), all reached the associated ARIA Singles Chart top 40. After declining popularity following their 2004 album, '' Extremist Makeover'', the band released a greatest hits album '' 10 Years of Cheap Fame'' (March 2007) before separating later that year. They reformed in 2009 to support long time friends Bodyjar on their End is Now Tour. 28 Days have released no new material since "Unmarked Graves" (April 2015).
