Route 6 (MTA Maryland)
Route 30 was a bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore. The line ran from Edmondson Village, Baltimore, Edmondson Village in west Baltimore to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Bayview Medical Center in southeast Baltimore during rush hour and Baltimore City Hall, City Hall during the midday until 20 February 2015. Route 30 was known as Route 6 until it was renamed and rerouted to Bayview Medical Center in August 2010.http://mta.maryland.gov/services/bus/routes/bus/schedule_changes/ The line did not provide any unique service. London Buses route 6 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Willesden Garage and Aldwych, it is operated by Metroline. History In 1934, route 6 operated from Willesden to Leyton via Marble Arch, Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and Aldwych. On 14 January 1942 it was withdrawn between Willesden and Kensal Rise. In May 1949, AEC Regent III RT buses were introduced. On 25 October 1969, it was withdrawn between Hackney Wick and Leyton. Line 6 (Madrid Metro)
Line 6 of the Madrid Metro opened originally between Cuatro Caminos and Pacifico in 1979. This is one of two circular lines in Madrid, but unlike Line 12, it did not open as a full circle. The circle was completed in 1995, taking four stages from its original opening. It has a length of 23.5km. Melbourne tram route 6 is operated by Yarra Trams on the Melbourne tram network from Moreland to Glen Iris. The 19.2 kilometre route is operated out of Brunswick and Malvern depots with Z, B and D class trams. History Route 6 was allocated to the line between Glen Iris and City (Swanston Street) on 21 November 1929, the same day that numbers were allocated to the rest of the Swanston Street trams. Trams traditionally terminated at the Victoria Street terminus, but following an accident in 1991, trams instead terminated at the Queensberry Street crossover. Due to congestion during peak hours at the crossover, some trams continued north to Melbourne University. Finally on 17 January 1996, a permanent shunt was built at Melbourne University. The 6 Lexington Avenue Local and Pelham Bay Park Express are two rapid transit services in the A Division of the New York City Subway. Their route emblems, or "bullets", are colored since they use the IRT Lexington Avenue Line in Manhattan. Seoul Subway Line 6 is a line of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. The route connects Eunpyeong-gu and Jungnang-gu in a U-shaped manner, running through Yongsan-gu and Seongbuk-gu. It does not cross the Han River. It is mainly used to connect to the northern outskirts of Seoul and to relieve the traffic on other lines.
