Faryl Smith (born 23 July 1995) is a British soprano whose performance repertoire includes opera, classical and classical crossover. Her diverse concerts draw a wide range of audiences, and she particularly enjoys introducing new audiences to classical music. Faryl has released two albums with Decca Records both in the UK and the US and works frequently with many different charities. Faryl rose to fame after appearing on the second series of the ITV television talent show ''Britain's Got Talent'' in 2008. After the show, she, unlike other finalists, did not sign with the judge Simon Cowell's record label Syco. Joseph McElderry (; born 16 June 1991) is an English singer and songwriter. He won the sixth series of the ITV show ''The X Factor'' in 2009. Hollie Steel (born 1 July 1998) is a performer originally from Burnley, Lancashire, England. In 2009 at the age of ten she was one of ten finalists on the third series of the ITV reality show ''Britain's Got Talent''. Her first audition stunned the judges with her surprisingly strong voice. In her second appearance during the semi-finals Steel suffered a panic attack onstage. After a second attempt Steel then completed the song and advanced to the Final. She then toured arenas in the United Kingdom and Ireland, making live performances with the series' other finalists in the summer of 2009. The ''Rotorua Daily Post'' is the regional newspaper for the Central North Island including the greater Rotorua area as well as Taupo and the surrounding areas. History The paper was founded in 1885 as the ''Hot Lakes Chronicle'', and received a major scoop when it covered the eruption of Mount Tarawera in June 1886. It was founded by a Mr Watt, and upon his death his wife took over. She in turn sold it to Mr David Gardner, who emigrated from Queensland, in 1905. Garðar Thór Cortes (pronounced , born 2 May 1974) is an Icelandic tenor of Icelandic and English parentage. A former child actor, Garðar subsequently trained as a singer in Vienna, Copenhagen and London. He has performed various leading tenor roles in operas, as well as a leading part in ''The Phantom of the Opera'' in London's West End.
