Hitlisten, also known as Tracklisten, is a Danish top 40 record chart that is updated every Thursday midnight on the website hitlisten.nu. The weekly Danish singles chart Track Top-40 combines the 40 best-selling tracks from legal music downloads and the sales of music singles on either CD or vinyl. The data are collected by Nielsen Music Control, who also compile the chart on behalf of IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry). 1965–1993: early IFPI charts This chart began in April 1965 as a monthly top 20 chart compiled by the Danish branch of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). It was published in several major Danish newspapers. Prior to that several Danish charts were compiled by competing newspapers. MellemFingaMuzik is a Danish hip-hop group, consisting of rappers Stepz (Ibrahim Kucukavci) and Branco (Benjamin Cimatu). The duo started publishing materials in late 2011, after which they joined the Danish record label HideOut that also had signed up rappers Jooks and Sivas. When HideOut closed, MellemFingaMuzik started a collaboration with the newly formed label Grounded. Rijan Nabaz better known by his stage name Node (born 3 March 1990) is a Danish-Kurdish singer and rapper. He started in 2012 as a pop singer under the mononym Rijan releasing his song "Ligeglad". Very early on he recorded also the song "Farvel" that featured also the rapper Gilli accompanied with a music video and rap sequence by Gilli. The video enjoyed 500,000 views. He followed it up by "I mit hovede" also credited as Rajin. He gained fame in 2017 through streaming of materials through Danish artist on Spotify.
