List Of Most-downloaded Google Play Applications
This list of most-downloaded Google Play applications includes most of the free apps that have been downloaded more than 500 million times, and most of the paid apps that have been downloaded more than one million times on unique Android devices. There are numerous Android apps that have been downloaded more than one million times from the Google Play app store, and it was reported in July 2017 that there are 319 apps which have been downloaded at least 100 million times and 4,098 apps have been downloaded at least ten million times. The barrier for entry on this list is set at 500 million for free apps to limit the size of this list. Many of the applications in this list are distributed pre-installed on top-selling Android devices and may be considered bloatware by some people because users did not actively choose to download them. Google Currents
Google Currents, formerly known as Google+ for G Suite, is software developed by Google for internal enterprise communication. It is one of many products that constitute the Google Workspace line of products. Google Currents is different from the defunct Google app of the same name, which provided users with access to an electronic library of magazines from 2011 to 2013. Google Duo
Google Duo is a proprietary voice over IP (VoIP) and videotelephony service developed by Google, available for Android, iOS and web browsers. It lets users make and receive one-to-one and group audio and video calls with other Duo users in high definition, using end-to-end encryption by default. Duo can be used either with a phone number or a Google account, allowing users to call someone from their contact list. Gboard is a virtual keyboard app developed by Google for Android and iOS devices. It was first released on iOS in May 2016, followed by a release on Android in December 2016, debuting as a major update to the already-established Google Keyboard app on Android.
