List Of MPs Elected In The 2020 Ghanaian General Election
The 2020 Ghanaian general election was held on 7 December 2020 to elect Members of Parliament (MPs) to the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic. The Speaker is not an elected member of parliament though he/she is qualified to stand for election as such. There are a total of 275 constituencies in Ghana. The 8th Parliament will start sitting on 7 January 2021 to elect a Speaker and Deputy Speakers as well as for the administration of oaths to the Speaker and Members of Parliament. Domeabra-Obom is one of the constituencies represented in the Parliament of Ghana. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Domeabra-Obom is located in the Ga South Municipal of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Boundaries The seat is located within the Accra Metropolis District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It was formed prior to the 2004 December presidential and parliamentary elections by the division of the old Ga South constituency into the new Domeabra-Obom, Weija and the Trobu-Amasaman constituencies. Oheneba Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei (born 24 July 1982) is a Ghanaian politician and the member of parliament for Akropong Constituency in the Eastern Region. She is a member of the New Patriotic Party and is currently the Ghanaian deputy minister of Trade & Industry. She was formerly Deputy Minister of Information. Early life and education Adjei was born on 24 July 1982 to Nana Osae Nyampong IV and Mrs. Aforo Asiamah-Adjei in Akropong, Eastern Region. She had her basic and senior school education at Alsyd Academy and St Roses Senior High school respectively. Ada East District is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe-Ghansah (born 3 November 1967) is a Ghanaian politician and the Member of Parliament for Ada constituency. She served as the Minister of State in charge of Social and Allied Institutions. She is currently the Deputy Chief Whip in the Parliament of Ghana. Early life and education Cudjoe-Ghansah was born in Big Ada, Greater Accra Region on 3 November 1967. Comfort earned her Diploma in Stenographership from Royal Academy of Accounting, Accra in 1983.
