List Of Current Provincial Governors In Indonesia
The following is a list of current governors of the Indonesian provinces. Indonesia is administratively divided into thirty-nine provinces.Following the enactment of Law on State Capital and creation of four new provinces in 2022 . The Capital City of Nusantara is headed by a national cabinet ministerial-level authority head appointed directly by the president, concurrently serving as governor for five-year terms independently from cabinet terms, and the province does not have a legislative body. While the Special Region of Yogyakarta has its own legislative body, the province is headed by the Sultan of Yogyakarta who reigns for life (divided into five-year terms for ceremonial purposes). Other provinces have their own local government, headed by a governor, and have their own legislative body. Indonesian Democratic Party Of Struggle
The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle ( id, Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan, PDI-P) is an Indonesian political party, and the party of the current President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. The PDI-P was founded and is currently led by Megawati Sukarnoputri, president of Indonesia from 2001 to 2004, and daughter of Sukarno, the first president of Indonesia. Megawati was forced out from the leadership of the Indonesian Democratic Party (PDI) by the government of Indonesia under Suharto in 1996. Bengkulu
Bengkulu is a province of Indonesia. It is located on the southwest coast of Sumatra. It was formed on 18 November 1968 by separating out the former Bencoolen Residency area from the province of South Sumatra under Law No. 9 of 1967 and was finalized by Government Regulation No. 20 of 1968.
