The Treasury Casino, also known as The Treasury is a casino in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It also houses a hotel, 6 restaurants, 5 bars, and a nightclub. The casino is operated by Star Entertainment Group. One percent of the casino's gross gaming revenue is deposited in the Jupiters Casino Community Benefit Fund. This fund supports non-profit community-based groups and is administered by the Government of Queensland. Origins The casino and hotel occupy two heritage-listed buildings, the Treasury Building, and the nearby Lands Administration Building. The buildings are separated by Queens Gardens. Paradise Island
Paradise Island is an island in The Bahamas formerly known as Hog Island. The island, with an area of (2.8 km2/1.1 sq mi), is located just off the shore of the city of Nassau, which is itself located on the northern edge of the island of New Providence. It is best known for the sprawling resort Atlantis with its extensive water park rides, pools, beach, restaurants, walk-in aquarium and casinos. Paradise Island is connected to the island of New Providence by two bridges that cross Nassau Harbour. The first was built in 1966 by Resorts International, and the second in the late 1990s. Country Club Casino
Country Club Tasmania is a casino in Launceston, Tasmania, owned by Federal Hotels. It is Tasmania's second casino. It is also used for a variety of local events and is home to an 18-hole golf course. Targa Tasmania uses the casino as a starting point for the race. The casino licence was originally supposed to be granted to a rival to Federal Hotels, who own the license to the Hobart casino, as well as a monopoly over all poker machines in the state. However, through successful lobbying the license for the second casino was also given to Federal Hotels. The casino was soon dominated by over 500 poker machines on the floor.
