Aeolus (Dongfeng Fengshen) is an automobile marque owned by the Chinese automaker Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company, a division of Dongfeng Motor Group. The brand was launched in July 2009 using the Fengshen name, and was later renamed to Aeolus as the English name, while the Chinese name remained the same (). Some of its products are based on those of PSA Peugeot Citroën, such as Fengshen L60, launched by Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën in 2015. History The Fengshen name was first used as a vehicle model name by Yunbao Automobile, a joint-venture set up by the Taiwanese Yulon Motor. Dongfeng Motor Corporation Ltd. is a Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer headquartered in Wuhan, Hubei. Founded in 1969, it is currently the third largest of the " Big Four" state-owned car manufacturers of China, namely: SAIC Motor, FAW Group, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and Changan Automobile, with car sales of 5.37 million, 3.50 million, 3.28 million and 2.30 million in 2021 respectively. Jetour () is a brand launched in 2018 by Chery under Chery Commercial Vehicle. The Chinese name of the brand is pronounced "Jietu", best translated as "Victory Road". It is a budget brand of Chery for crossovers and SUVs. The entire Jetour product range would also be no smaller than midsize segments, with options for 5, 6, or 7-seat configurations, while offering Internal combustion engine, fully electric, plug-in hybrid and possibly hydrogen powertrains. Exeed (stylized EXEED) is an automotive division of premium sport utility vehicles introduced by Chinese automobile manufacturer Chery Automobile in September 2017. History The Exeed marque was introduced on September 14, 2017 at International Motor Show Germany in Frankfurt with the TX concept vehicle, a mid-size SUV wearing Chery badges. The first Exeed-branded vehicle to be revealed is the Exeed LX concept revealed at Auto China on April 29, 2018 in Beijing. Karry Auto is a Chinese car manufacturer founded by Chery Automobile in 2009 specializing in the production of light commercial vehicles and people carriers for passenger transport. It is a subsidiary of Chery Commercial Vehicle (Anhui) Co. Ltd. and is based in Anhui, Wuhu in China. History The name Karry made its first appearance in the early 2000s as a commercial vehicle model within the Chery range (the Karry A18).
