This is a list of anime series by franchise series total episode count for series with a minimum of 200 total episodes in the franchise, including television series episodes and specials, OVAs, and films. The series in the list combine all episodes in a franchise series within the original work or original text regardless of series subtitle. For example, even though each individual '' Sailor Moon'' series has a different title, they are all combined into one total for this list. Chibi Maruko-chan
is a shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Momoko Sakura. The series depicts the simple, everyday life of Momoko Sakura, a young girl everyone calls ''Maruko'', and her family in suburban Japan in the year 1974. Maruko is a troublemaker, and every episode recounts Maruko's trouble and how she and her friends succeed in solving the situation. The series is set in the former of Irie District (入江町), Shimizu, now part of Shizuoka City, birthplace of its author. The first story under the title "Chibi Maruko-chan" was published in the August 1986 edition of the shōjo manga magazine ''Ribon''. Other semi-autobiographical stories by the author had appeared in ''Ribon'' and ''Ribon Original'' in 1984 and 1985, and were included in the first "Chibi Maruko-chan" tankōbon in 1987. ''Pokémon Origins'', known in Japan as , is a Japanese anime television mini series based on Nintendo's ''Pokémon'' franchise which follows the plot of ''Pokemon Red'' and ''Blue''. Like the television series, it was not owned by Media Factory (brand company of Kadokawa Corporation). Animation is handled by Production I.G, Xebec, and OLM, Inc., and the film is split into four parts, each directed by a different director from these studios. It was broadcast on TV Tokyo on October 2, 2013, ten days before the release of the ''X'' and ''Y'' video games, and began streaming internationally on Nintendo's Pokémon TV service from November 15, 2013 to December 2, 2013. Mewtwo is a Pokémon, a fictional creature from Nintendo and Game Freak. Created by Ken Sugimori, it debuted in the video games Pokémon Red and Blue, ''Pokémon Red'' and ''Blue'', and later appeared in subsequent sequels and spin-off titles, such as ''Pokken Tournament''. In the video games, the player can fight and capture Mewtwo in order to subsequently pit it against other Pokémon.
