Boxing (also known as "Western boxing" or "pugilism") is a combat sport in which two people, usually wearing protective gloves and other protective equipment such as hand wraps and mouthguards, throw punches at each other for a predetermined amount of time in a boxing ring. John Francis Kiley Jr. (January 5, 1929 – February 16, 1982) was an American professional basketball player. Kiley was selected in the 1951 NBA draft by the Fort Wayne Pistons after a collegiate career at Syracuse. He played for the Pistons in 1951–52 and the beginning of 1952–53 and averaged 2.3 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest in 53 career games. Maurice O'Sullivan (boxer)
Maurice A. O'Sullivan (born 4 December 1952) is a British boxer. As a teenager, he won the Welsh Amateur Boxing Association title before being selected to represent Great Britain at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. He won his first bout at the Games before suffering a defeat to eventual silver medallist, Ugandan Leo Rwabwogo. Career Born in Cardiff, Wales, O'Sullivan represented Roath Youth Amateur Boxing Club. He was selected to represent Wales as a teenager and fought Johnny Owen in the 1974 Welsh Amateur Boxing Association Championship, winning a controversial judges' decision. O'Sullivan reportedly offered the trophy to Owen after the fight, although Owen refused to accept. Caerau is a community in the west of Cardiff, capital city of Wales. Often considered part of Wenvoe by gully, Heol Trelai is the main road or avenue, lined with large trees. Dominated mostly by private housing, it has the Western Leisure Centre, supermarkets, schools and churches. Nantymoel
Nant-y-moel or Nantymoel (meaning "stream from the bare mountain") is a village and includes the formerly separate village of Pricetown in the county borough of Bridgend, Wales on the River Ogmore, and is one of the constituent villages of the Ogmore Valley. It is bordered by the village of Wyndham to the south and by the Bwlch y Clawdd mountain to the north. History As with the rest of the Ogmore Valley, it was mainly a farming community up until the middle of the 19th century when coal mining became widespread across South Wales. George Sutton, Sr (15 September 1922 – December 1995) was a Welsh boxer who held the Welsh flyweight title on two occasions. His brother, Jackie Sutton, also held a Wales boxing belt and his son, George Jr, contested the British Bantamweight title. William McIntosh Davies (born 31 May 1964) is a Scottish former professional footballer and manager. He won the 2007 Play-offs with Derby County, finished as runners-up in 2005 with Preston North End, and reached the semi-finals in 2006 (Preston), 2010 and 2011 (both with Nottingham Forest).
