Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay
''Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay'' or ''Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play'' (abbreviated to ''WFRP'' or ''WHFRP'') is a role-playing game set in the ''Warhammer Fantasy'' setting, published by Games Workshop or its licensees. The first edition of ''WFRP'' was published in 1986 and later maintained by Hogshead Publishing. A second edition developed by Green Ronin Publishing was published in 2004 by Black Industries. Fantasy Flight Games published a third edition under license in November 2009. This edition used a new system retaining few mechanics of the original. A fourth edition rooted in the first and second editions was released under license by Cubicle 7 in 2018. Robin D. Laws (born October 14, 1964 in Orillia, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian writer and game designer who lives in Toronto, Canada. He is the author of a number of novels and role-playing games as well as an anthologist. Career Robin D. Laws has been a professional game designer and an author since the early 1990s. Graeme Davis (game Author)
Graeme Davis (born 1958, in Isleworth, England) is a game designer, writer and editor who has worked extensively in the roleplaying game industry. Biography Davis started playing ''Dungeons & Dragons'' in the mid-1970s, shortly after it was first imported into the United Kingdom. After leaving school he worked in the banking industry before studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in archaeology at the University of Durham in 1979. He graduated in 1982, and started work towards a Doctor of Philosophy degree. Games Workshop's ''White Dwarf'' magazine in 1982 gave Davis his first paid opportunity to write an article about ''Dungeons & Dragons''. Other opportunities followed, including ''White Dwarf'' and other magazines such as TSR, Inc.'s ''Imagine''. A job offer from Games Workshop in 1986 prompted Davis to leave university with his Ph.D. unfinished. David Chart
David Chart is a game designer who has worked primarily on role-playing games. Career David Chart authored '' Akrasia: Thief of Time'' (2001), the first in Eden Studios's "Eden Odyssey" series of adventures. Chart took over as ''Ars Magica'' Line Editor for Atlas Games in 2002. In Games Workshop's ''Warhammer Fantasy'' and ''Warhammer 40,000'' fictional universes, Chaos refers to parasitic entities which live in a different plane of reality known as '' the Warp'' or ''Immaterium'' in ''Warhammer 40,000'' and as the Realm of Chaos in ''Warhammer Age of Sigmar''. The term can refer to these warp entities and their influence, the servants and worshippers of these entities, or even the parallel universe in which these entities are supposed to reside. The most powerful of these warp entities are those known as the Chaos Gods, also sometimes referred to as the Dark Gods, Ruinous Powers, or the Powers of Chaos.
