UP Aerospace conducted its first launch on 25 September 2006 from Spaceport America in Upham, New Mexico. Since then, numerous other launches, mostly successful, have been conducted from the company's launch complex at Spaceport America. All launches of UP Aerospace have been suborbital. KRQE (channel 13) is a television station in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States, affiliated with CBS and Fox. Owned by Nexstar Media Group, it is sister to Santa Fe–licensed ''de facto'' CW owned-and-operated station KWBQ (channel 19) and MyNetworkTV affiliate KASY-TV (channel 50) (both owned by Mission Broadcasting with certain services provided by Nexstar through a shared services agreement SA. Kármán Line
The Kármán line (or von Kármán line ) is an attempt to define a boundary between Earth's atmosphere and outer space, and offers a specific definition set by the Fédération aéronautique internationale (FAI), an international record-keeping body for aeronautics. Defining the edge of space is important for legal and regulatory purposes since aircraft and spacecraft fall under different jurisdictions and are subject to different treaties. International law does not define the edge of space, or the limit of national airspace. The FAI defines the Kármán line as space beginning above Earth's mean sea level. This number is well above the altitude reachable by a conventional airplane and is roughly where satellites, even on very eccentric trajectories, will decay before completing a single orbit.
