City Of Townsville
The City of Townsville is a local government area (LGA) located in North Queensland, Australia. It encompasses the city of Townsville, together with the surrounding rural areas, to the south are the communities of Alligator Creek, Woodstock and Reid River, and to the north are Northern Beaches and Paluma, and also included is Magnetic Island. In June 2018 the area had a population of 194,072, and is the 28th-largest LGA in Australia. Townsville is considered to be the unofficial capital of North Queensland. Hermit Park, Queensland
Hermit Park is a suburb of Townsville in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. In the Hermit Park had a population of 3,414 people. Geography Hermit Park is a mixture of predominantly residential premises, commercial and light-industrial businesses, as well as serving as a public services hub. Railway Estate is a suburb of Townsville in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. In the Railway Estate had a population of 2,852 people. Geography Railway Estate is located on the south end of Ross Island, bounded by Ross Creek to the south-west and Ross River to the south-east. The suburb of South Townsville occupies the northern part of the island. Pimlico is a suburb of Townsville in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. In the Pimlico had a population of 2,460 people. Geography The suburb is roughly rectangular and longer to the north-south than to the east-west. It is bounded to the north by North Townsville Road (Woolcock Street) and to the east by Kings Road. Pallarenda, Queensland
Pallarenda is a northern coastal suburb of Townsville in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. In the Pallarenda had a population of 791 people. Geography The residential development in the suburb is only three streets deep from the beach and is surrounded by undeveloped land. It is accessed by the Cape Pallarenda Road which runs north along the coast from Rowes Bay. In the north of Pallarenda is the Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park. History The suburb was officially named and bounded on 12 June 1992, having previously been known as Cape Marlow. Oonoonba is a suburb of Townsville in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. In the , Oonoonba had a population of 1,675 people. Geography Oonoonba is approximately by road south from Townsville central business district. The suburb is bounded to the north by the Ross River, to the east loosely by Gordon Creek, to the south by the North Coast railway line and to the west loosely by Northshore Circuit. The suburb is predominantly a residential area. Mysterton is a suburb in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. In the Mysterton had a population of 809 people. It is one of the smallest suburbs in Townsville. Geography Mysterton is predominantly residential, and is situated between the suburbs of Hermit Park, Mundingburra, Pimlico and Hyde Park. Mount Stuart, Queensland
Mount Stuart is a locality in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. In the , Mount Stuart had no population. Geography The Ross River forms the western boundary of the locality. The Ross River Dam is at the south-west of the locality which forms Lake Ross which is the south-western boundary of the locality. The terrain is mountainous rising to the peak of Mount Stuart (584 metres) (). There is a lookout at the top of the mountain with views over the Townsville area. It is accessed via the Mount Stuart Road which commences at Stuart Drive in neighbouring Roseneath. As at November 2018, the locality is otherwise undeveloped.
