List Of The Wiggles Episodes
The Australian children's music group The Wiggles have produced several television series. The first one, titled ''The Wiggles'' aired in 1998 on Seven Network and consisted of 13 episodes. The second series, also titled ''The Wiggles'', aired in 1999 and consisted of 26 episodes. The shows were also broadcast overseas, most notably on the Disney Channel during their Playhouse Disney block. In 2002, The Wiggles began filming three seasons worth of shows exclusively with Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). ''Lights, Camera, Action, Wiggles'' (Series 3) aired on ABC 4 Kids in 2002, and ''The Wiggles Show'' (Series 4 and Series 5) aired in 2005 and 2006. Lachlan Gillespie
Lachlan Gillespie (born 23 October 1985) is an Australian singer, musician, and actor. He is a member of the Wiggles and wears the purple skivvy. Early life Gillespie began playing the piano at the age of four, and started formal singing training when he was 12. He attended the Fame School of Performing Arts as a teenager, earned a Bachelor of Arts in musical theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), and has performed in musicals in Melbourne and New York. He has been a vocal and drama coach for children between the ages of four and 13. Dorothy The Dinosaur
The Wiggles characters are a group of characters who perform with the Wiggles, the Australian children's music group. Aside from the four Wiggles, four secondary characters, along with a troupe of singers, actors, and dancers, appear in their television series, videos, and live concerts. These characters were developed in the 1990s and were originally played by group members and by Anthony Field's brother Paul Field, the band's manager. Later in the group's history, the characters were played by hired actors dressed in the characters' costumes. John Pearce (entertainer)
John Len Ruela Adamo Pearce (born 25 February 1991) is an Australian dancer and singer best known as a member of Justice Crew and since 2021 as a supporting member member of the children's band The Wiggles. Pearce is of Filipino descent. Pearce was a member of Justice Crew when the group came to prominence winning the 2010 season of Australia's Got Talent. During his time with the group, they released two ARIA Chart-topping songs and two further top ten singles, and earned eight ARIA Award nominations. Pearce also worked as a personal trainer and appeared in the 2017 season of Australian Ninja Warrior. In 2021, Pearce joined The Wiggles in the group's expansion from four to eight performers. Caterina Mete
Caterina Mete (born 10 September 1980) is an Australian dancer, singer and choreographer, and supporting member of children's band The Wiggles. Mete began dancing at the age of seven, beginning with tap, jazz and ballroom dancing. Her early employment included cheerleading for the Melbourne Storm. In 2003, she became a Wiggly dancer, successfully auditioning to play Dorothy the Dinosaur for The Wiggles in a separate spin-off show. In this role, she caught the attention of The Wiggles and became a regular dancer for the group, performing in recordings and touring with the group to perform in live shows. Evie Ferris (born 18 February 1997) is an Australian ballerina and supporting member of children's band The Wiggles. Ferris was born in Cairns, Australia, and attended St Andrews Catholic College until year 7. She began dance and performing arts classes at the age of four. By 2007 she had a supporting role in The Australian Ballet's production of Don Quixote. Ferris was one of eight dancers to earn a role after auditioning with 150 other young dancers, and she was a puppet in the story in the Man of La Mancha. In 2010, at the age of twelve, she moved to Melbourne to join the Australian Ballet School. Tsehay Hawkins (, ; born 15 November 2005) is an Australian dancer and singer. In August 2021, she became an auxiliary member of The Wiggles, wearing a red shirt. Later in the year, she replaced Emma Watkins as the Yellow Wiggle. She is the second female to be a member of the group and the first member of African heritage. Anthony Field
Anthony Donald Joseph Field, AM (born 8 May 1963) is an Australian musician, actor, songwriter and producer. He is best known as a leader of the children's group the Wiggles and a member of the 1980s and 1990s pop band the Cockroaches. While still a teenager, he helped found the Cockroaches with his brothers, Paul and John. The Cockroaches recorded two albums and enjoyed moderate success, interrupted by Field's service in Australia's regular army, until they disbanded in the late 1980s.
