Andrea Bosic
Andrea Bosic (15 August 1919 – 8 January 2012) was an Italian film actor of Slovene origin. He appeared in more than 50 films between 1951 and 1985, mainly in films called Spaghetti Westerns. He has appeared in films alongside John Phillip Law, Giuliano Gemma, Lee Van Cleef and Ivan Rassimov. He was born as Ignazio Andrej Božič in Gomilško, now a suburb of Maribor, Slovenia. ''La dama del alba'' ("The Lady of the Dawn" in English) is a Spanish play written by playwright Alejandro Casona in 1944. It is a fantasy-drama in which Death personified is the main character. It takes place in a small village in the Spanish Principality of Asturias. The play consists of four acts, and is very popular in its own country. Synopsis Act I The Narces family is introduced in this act. It is revealed that the mother mysteriously lost a daughter, Angelica, to the large river in their town four years ago. Angelica was married to a young man named Martin three days before her apparent death. Her body was never found, and thus no proper burial was performed. The memory of her death still dwells in the minds of her family. The play starts on the anniversary of her death. "La Peregrina" (The Pilgrim in English) shows up at the door, who is traveling on the Camino de Santiago, or "Way of St. James," as it is translated into English. Audie Murphy
Audie Leon Murphy (20 June 1925 – 28 May 1971) was an American soldier, actor and songwriter. He was one of the most decorated American combat soldiers of World War II. He received every military combat award for valor available from the United States Army, as well as French and Belgian awards for heroism. Murphy received the Medal of Honor for valor that he demonstrated at the age of 19 for single-handedly holding off a company of German soldiers for an hour at the Colmar Pocket in France in January 1945, before leading a successful counterattack while wounded and out of ammunition. Murphy was born into a large family of sharecroppers in Hunt County, Texas. After his father abandoned them, his mother died when he was a teenager. Murphy left school in fifth grade to pick cotton and find other work to help support his family; his skill with a hunting rifle helped feed his family. Lesley Selander (May 26, 1900 – December 5, 1979) was an American film director of Western (genre), Westerns and adventure film, adventure movies. His career as director, spanning 127 feature films and dozens of TV episodes, lasted from 1936 to 1968. Before that, Selander was assistant director on films such as ''The Cat and the Fiddle (film), The Cat and the Fiddle'' (1934), ''A Night at the Opera (film), A Night at the Opera'' (1935), and Fritz Lang's ''Fury (1936 film), Fury'' (1936). ''The Texican'' is a 1966 American Techniscope Western film produced and written by John C. Champion and directed by Lesley Selander. It is a paella western remake of their 1948 film '' Panhandle'' adapted for the persona of Audie Murphy that featured Broderick Crawford as the heavy. The film was re-titled ''Ringo il Texano'' in Italy to coincide with the popularity of the Ringo Spaghetti Western film series. Plot The town of Rimrock, Arizona is run by political boss Luke Starr (Broderick Crawford). The 19th Cannes Film Festival was held from 5 to 20 May 1966. To honour the festival's 20th anniversary, a special prize was given. The Grand Prix du Festival International du Film went to the '' Signore & Signori'' by Pietro Germi, in tie with '' Un homme et une femme'' by Claude Lelouch.
