Spanish Comics
Spanish comics are the comics of Spain. Comics in Spain are usually called ''historietas'' or ''cómics'', with ''tebeos'' primarily denoting the magazines containing the medium. ''Tebeo'' is a phonetic adaptation of ''TBO'', a long-running (1917–1983) Spanish comic magazine, and sounds like "''te veo''" ("I see you"). Two publishing houses — Editorial Bruguera and Editorial Valenciana — dominated the Spanish comics market for most of its history. Spanish artists have traditionally worked in other markets reaching great success, either in the American (e.g., Eisner Award winners Sergio Aragonés, Salvador Larroca, Gabriel Hernández Walta, Marcos Martín or David Aja), the British (e.g., Carlos Ezquerra, co-creator of '' Judge Dredd'') or the Franco-Belgian one (e.g., first Fauve d'Or winner Julio Ribera or ''Blacksad'' authors Juan Díaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido). The Spanish market is also known for its many studios, which for a long time - relatively chea ...

''Mabberley's Plant-Book.'' third edition (2008). Cambridge University Press. to 1200. ''Phyllanthus'' has a remarkable diversity of growth forms including annual and perennial herbs, shrubs, climbers, floating aquatics, and pachycaulous succulents. Some have flattened leaflike stems called cladodes. It has a wide variety of floral morphologies and chromosome numbers and has one of the widest range of pollen types of any seed plant genus. Despite their variety, almost all ''Phyllanthus'' species express a specific type of growth called "phyllanthoid branching" in which the vertical stems bear deciduous, floriferous (flower-bearing), plagiotropic (horizontal or oblique) stems. The leaves on the main (vertical) axes are reduced to scales called " cataphylls", while leaves on the other axes develop norma ...

Spanish: Chicha, Tato y Clodoveo, by profession unemployed) are Spanish comics characters created in 1986 by Francisco Ibañez that shows the misadventures of three unemployed young people. Overview The characters reflect the Spanish unemployment of the time with the characteristic humor of the author, present in all his works. Chicha is perhaps the most original character, she is an easygoing girl, which loves to party and wears a characteristic punk hairstyle.
