This is a list of Palestinian rocket and mortar attacks on Israel in 2019. All of the attacks originated in the Gaza Strip, unless stated otherwise. This list does not include reports of deaths and injuries caused by Hamas rocket and mortar attacks that fell within Gaza. March On 14 March 2019, two rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip towards Tel Aviv. The incident was the first rocket strike against Tel Aviv since the 2014 Israel–Gaza conflict. 2019 Tel Aviv Rocket Strike
A rocket strike occurred on March 14, 2019, when two rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip towards Tel Aviv. The incident was the first rocket strike against Tel Aviv in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict since the 2014 Gaza war. At 21:07 IST on Thursday, March 14, 2019, two long-range rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip towards Tel Aviv. Sirens began blaring and the missile defense system, Iron Dome, was activated to intercept the rockets. The Israel Defense Forces originally reported that one of the rockets was intercepted but later acknowledged that neither of the rockets were shot down and landed in unpopulated areas. Baha Abu Al-Ata
Baha Abu al-Ata ( ar, بهاء أبو العطا; 25 November 1977 – 12 November 2019) was a leader of Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine (PIJ). On 12 November 2019, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) killed Abu al-Ata and his wife in a targeted killing, four of their children and a neighbour were also reportedly injured. The killings triggered clashes between Israelis and Palestinians. Khalil Bathani became the new leader of PIJ. Al-Quds Brigades Al-Ata was born on 25 November 1977 in Shuja'iyya. He joined Al-Quds Brigades, an armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, in 1990, later becoming its head.
