Andhra Natyam
Andhranatyam is a dance in the Nattuva Mela tradition, one of the two ancient dance traditions in India. Natya Mela which is performed by men, and Nattuva Mela which women perform. Andhranatyam, the ancient classical dance form of the Telugu regions (Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Andhra), has been in vogue for the past 2000 years. It was performed in the Buddhist Aramas, temples, and royal courts by the Telugu regions’ cultured and dedicated female artists. Andhranatyam is formerly known with different names like Aradhana, Kacheri, Darbar,  Kelika, Chinna Melam, Mejuvani, and Dasi Ata, etc. Unlike other female dances like Bharatanatyam, temple, and court dances, Andhranatyam had become inert at one point in time. Deodhani Dance
Deodhani dance ( as, দেওধনী নৃত্য) is a Shaman folk dance from the Indian state of Assam. It can be performed either solo or in a group. Deodhani is of Boro-kachari origin. A group performance of Deodhani generally consists of three or four women. The dance form is associated with the worship of the snake goddess Manasa or Marei/Maroi. Dandiya
Raas or Dandiya Raas is the socio-religious folk dance originating from Indian state of Gujarat and popularly performed in the festival of Navaratri. The dance is performed in the Marwar region of Rajasthan too. The etymology of Dandiya-Raas is in Sanskrit. Dandiya-raas exists in the different forms, including the collegiate competitive form. Dollu Kunitha
Dollu Kunitha (Kannada:ಡೊಳ್ಳು ಕುಣಿತ), is a major popular drum dance of Karnataka. Background In all temples of Beereshwara, the major instrument Dollu is hung by means of a thick thread tied to hooks in the ceiling. Every time worship is offered to Beereshwara, there should be an instantaneous beating of the dollu. This expressive literature its oral tradition goes by the legend called 'Halumatha Purana' or Kuruba Purana. The story is that the demon Dolla-asura worshipped Shiva devotedly and, when Shiva appeared before him, asked him to ask for a boon; that he should be able to swallow Shiva himself, or else he requests immortality which Shiva refuses so that the enraged Dollu swallow's Shiva. Chholiya
Chholiya (or Chhaliya; Kumaoni: ) or Hudkeli (or Hudke; ) is a traditional folk dance form originated in the Kumaon division of the Indian state of Uttarakhand and Sudurpashchim province of Nepal.
