Professional Wrestling
Professional wrestling is a form of theater that revolves around staged wrestling matches. The mock combat is performed in a ring similar to the kind used in boxing, and the dramatic aspects of pro wrestling may be performed both in the ring or—as in televised wrestling shows—in backstage areas of the venue, in similar form to reality television. TNA Lockdown
Lockdown is a professional wrestling event held by the American professional wrestling promotion Impact Wrestling. The event was first held in 2005 and was considered one of the flagship events in the company (alongside Slammiversary and Bound for Glory). The event's premise was that the entire card would be contested inside a steel cage. Other matches on the card featured additional gimmicks added on to the steel cage format, such as the signature Lethal Lockdown match (a variant on the WarGames match), and the Xscape and "Queen of the Cage" matches. Originally, Lockdown was to have only two cage matches to highlight the name; the 2013 event was the only one to follow this format. With the exception of the 2005 and 2006 events, Lockdown has been held outside the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. The first ten events were held on Pay-per-view, while the last two events were broadcast as special episodes of Impact's weekly television series. On January 24, 2020, Impact announce ...

TNA Genesis

The name was originally used on May 9, 2003, for a two-hour DirecTV special that highlighted early moments in TNA’s history. All events but three have been held in the Impact Zone. Originally, Genesis was held in November, but was moved to January starting in 2009. For this reason, 2008 did not have a Genesis PPV event. There have only been five World Championship matches in the main event. Genesis was later televised as an '' Impact Wrestling'' television special on Spike TV on January 16, 2014, and on Pop in 2017 and 2018. On December 12, 2020 at Final Resolution, it was announced that Genesis would be revived as a monthly special fo ...
