''Goosebumps'' is a children's anthology horror television series based on R. L. Stine's best-selling book series of the same name. It originally aired on the Fox Kids Network from 1995 to 1998. All together, 43 of the original 62 books were adapted, along with nine stories from the ''Tales to Give You Goosebumps'' series, and two books from ''Goosebumps Series 2000''. The ''Chillogy'' three-parter was a completely original story, while the episode ''More Monster Blood'' was an original story based on existing characters. Brad MacDonald composed the underscore to 42 ''Goosebumps'' episodes. ''Goosebumps'' is a children's anthology horror television series based on R. L. Stine's best-selling book series of the same name. It is an anthology of stories about tweens and young teens finding themselves in creepy and unusual situations, typically involving supernatural elements or the occult. Production ''Goosebumps'' was filmed largely in the Canadian province of Ontario, with different houses and historic properties in Toronto, Markham and other outlying rural areas serving often as the sets for each episode rather than constructing artificial houses and buildings. Canada also provided a more affordable filming location and an aesthetic that could double as American while maintaining ambiguity in terms of location and setting. Props for the series were designed by Ron Stefaniuk and Alan Doucette, while Stefaniuk retained many of the animatronic props at his own studio after ''Goosebumps'' was cancelled. René Bonnière
René Gabriel Bonnière (born 10 March 1928) is a Canadian film director and editor, originally from France. He has had a prolific career, working in television and film in both French and English productions. Biography Bonnière was born in Lyon, France. He first began his film career in France as a director for the French army, working alongside Henri Colpi and composer Georges Delerue. He then worked as an assistant to filmmaking pioneer Marcel L'Herbier. He emigrated from France in May 1955, arriving in New York City with his wife, Claude, on the SS ''Flandre''.
