Lloyd Hagger
Lloyd Hagger (7 December 1898 – 27 June 1968) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) from 1917 to 1929. Football Recruited from Barwon in the Geelong & District Football Association, Hagger played as a key position forward and was known for his high marking and ability to kick goals from difficult angles. Named captain-coach of Geelong in 1924, Hagger was captain for only one season, handing the job over to Cliff Rankin. In 1925 Geelong won the premiership and Hagger was the League's leading goalkicker, with 78 for the season. He also regularly played for Victoria in interstate matches. At the 1924 Hobart Carnival, Hagger, playing for Victoria against Western Australia, kicked seven goals in Victoria's eight point win. Bernie Smith
Bernard Keith Smith (19 December 1927 – 21 April 1985) was an Australian rules footballer who represented in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1940s and 1950s. Smith made his name as a back pocket player in a successful period for Geelong. SANFL career Smith commenced his career with West Adelaide in the SANFL as a 16-year-old on 28 April 1945, playing primarily as a centre. He won the Trabilsie Medal, West Adelaide's best and fairest award, in 1947, the same year that he played in their Grand Final triumph over Norwood, in which he was widely acknowledged as the best player afield. Lindsay G. White (5 January 1922 – 13 March 1977) was an Australian rules footballer who represented and in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1940s. White was regarded as one of the best forwards of the 1940s. He was fast on the lead, was a strong overhead mark and possessed a long and accurate kick. Tom Arklay (26 March 1914 – 11 January 2002) was an Australian rules footballer who played for Geelong in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Career A Geelong local, Arklay made his senior debut 1933. He was a tough and physical player, mostly used on the half back flank and also as a ruck rover. Reginald Joseph Hickey (27 March 1906 – 13 December 1973) was an Australian rules footballer who was a player, the captain, the captain-coach, and the non-playing coach for the Geelong Football Club in the Victorian Football League (1897–1989), Victorian Football League (VFL) between 1928 and 1940 (player), and between 1949 and 1959 (non-player).
