List Of Eurovision Song Contest Presenters
The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual international song competition, held every year by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) since 1956. This page is a list of people who have acted as presenters of the contest. Since 1988, it has been the norm to have at least two presenters for the contest. All contests before 1978 have had one presenter, and three contests after 1988 have had only one presenter (these being the 1993, 1995 and 2013 contests). The 1999 contest was the first to consist of three presenters, and this method has been used most often since 2010. The contests from 2018 to 2021 consisted of four presenters each (excluding the cancelled 2020 contest). Katie Boyle
Caterina Irene Elena Maria Boyle, Lady Saunders (née Imperiali dei Principi di Francavilla; 29 May 1926 – 20 March 2018), usually known as Katie Boyle, was an Italian-born British actress, writer, radio announcer, television personality, game-show panellist and animal rights activist. She became best known for presenting the Eurovision Song Contest on four occasions, in 1960, 1963, 1968 and 1974; the first three in London and the last in Brighton, England. She was once an agony aunt, answering problems that had been posted by readers of the ''TVTimes''. Hannie Lips
Hannie Lips (16 July 1924 – 19 November 2012) was a Dutch broadcaster and television announcer of among others Dutch public broadcasting association KRO. She is best known to international audiences for presenting the Third Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 when it was staged in Hilversum, Netherlands. In addition she hosted the Dutch National Song Contest in 1960 and 1962. Lips died in the Netherlands at the age of 88 in her hometown Laren. Corry Brokken
Cornelia Maria "Corry" Brokken (3 December 1932 – 31 May 2016) was a Dutch singer, television presenter and jurist. In 1957, she won the second edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Net als toen", representing the Netherlands. Throughout her career, she scored a number of hits, sang in the popular ''Sleeswijk Revue'' with Snip en Snap, and had her own television show. She was also the presenter of the Eurovision Song Contest 1976, which was held in The Hague, Netherlands, following the victory of Teach-In the year before. She ended her career as a singer in 1973 to study law, after which she became a lawyer and ultimately a judge. Karin Falck
Anna Karin Margareta Falck (; born 6 February 1932) is a Swedish television director, hostess and producer. Career Karin Falck was born in Säffle, Värmland County and lived her first six years of life in Karlstad. She moved with her mother and younger brother to Stockholm when she was 6 years old since her father died. In her youth, she dreamed of playing ice hockey. When Karin Falck started on TV, she had studied theater history and English at Stockholm University, where she wrote an essay on children's theater. She then became an assistant to Elsa Olenius who started Barnteatern (now Vår Teater). She began her TV career in 1954 as a scriptwriter in Alf Sjöberg's TV set of Hamlet. Helga Guitton
Helga Guitton (born 18 December 1942) is a German radio and television presenter. She was a disc jockey and interviewer for RTL and was presenter of the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest. Biography Guitton worked for RTL from 1964 to 1994. On Radio Luxemburg she co-hosted ''Tag Schatz, Tag Scherz'' with Jochen Pützenbacher, who later recalled that they worked so well together, there were rumours they were romantically involved. Moira Shearer King, Lady Kennedy (17 January 1926 – 31 January 2006), was an internationally renowned Scottish ballet, ballet dancer and actress. Bernadette Ní Ghallchóir
Bernadette Ní Ghallchóir (; born 1947 or 1948) is an Irish television presenter and continuity announcer. She was a familiar face of RTÉ between the late sixties and early eighties. Career In the late 1960’s, Ní Ghallchóir (using the name Bernadette Gallagher) worked briefly as a primary school teacher in London, teaching at the George Tomlinson School in Leytonstone. Ní Ghallchóir hosted the Irish language show Buntús Cainte in the 1960s. Willy Dobbe
Willy Dobbe (born 2 January 1944 in The Hague) is a Dutch television announcer and former television presenter. She was the host of the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest and also presented the Dutch national finals for the Eurovision Song Contest 1971, 1971 and 1972 Eurovision Song Contest, 1972 contests. Career Dobbe was born in The Hague and obtained a degree as beautician. In 1967 she joined the broadcaster Nederlandse Omroep Stichting and became a television announcer, which she remained for 5 years before moving to the TROS in 1972. In 1970, Dobbe was asked to host the Eurovision Song Contest in Amsterdam. She maintained her Eurovision connection for two more years, when she hosted the Nationaal Songfestival consecutively in 1971 and 1972.
