Essex Cricket Board
The Essex Cricket Board is the governing body for all recreational cricket in the historic county of Essex. From 1999 to 2003 the Board fielded a team in the English domestic one-day tournament, matches which had List-A status.

Mel Hussain
Mehriyar "Mel" Hussain (born 17 October 1963) is an English former cricketer who played one first-class cricket match for Worcestershire County Cricket Club in 1985. He also played one List A match for Essex Cricket Board 16 years later in 2001. At a lower level, he played for Hampshire's Second XI and, briefly, Warwickshire's and Worcestershire's seconds. In 1982 he played for a MCC side against Ireland, and between 1991 and 1994 appeared a number of times for an England Amateur XI against other home nations, the matches in the last two of those years forming part of the Triple Crown Tournament. He played club cricket with Ilford, Fives, Gidea Park and Romford in the Essex Premier League and at a lower level for High Roding in the Mid-Essex League. Also for Bishop Stortford. Currently the English ambassador for the Indian tourist board. Sharp represented the Essex Cricket Board in a single List A match against Ireland in the 1999 NatWest Trophy. Graham Richard Napier (born 6 January 1980) is an English former cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast bowler, and was capable of bowling 90+mph. Napier played first-class cricket for his home county of Essex since the outset of his senior career in 1997. Between 1997 and 1999 Napier played in four Youth Test matches in England against Zimbabwe, South Africa (twice) and Australia's respective under-19 teams. Andrew Ian MacKinlay (born 21 September 1967) is a former South African cricketer. MacKinlay was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. He was born at Durban, Natal Province. MacKinlay made his debut in List A cricket for Natal Country Districts against Transvaal in the Nissan Shield during the 1991/92 season.
