Eric Garside Eric Garside, played by Peter Kay, appeared on 30 January 2004. Eric is a drayman who arrives at the Rovers Return Inn in January 2004 for a date with Shelley Unwin (Sally Lindsay). ITV (TV Network)
ITV is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network. It was launched in 1955 as Independent Television to provide competition to BBC Television (established in 1936). Alison King
Alison Rosamund King (born 3 March 1973) is an English actress and model. She is known for her roles as Lynda Block in the Sky One drama series ''Dream Team'' (1998–2003, 2005–2007), and Carla Connor in the long-running ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'' (2006–present). Julia Haworth
Julia Haworth is an English actress. She is known for playing the role of Claire Peacock in the ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'' from 2003 to 2011. Early and personal life Haworth was born in Burnley, Lancashire. She attended St Christopher's Church of England High School, Accrington and later went to Nelson and Colne College and Manchester University. When she was nine, her mother enrolled her in drama workshops at Burnley Mechanics, and she subsequently joined Burnley Youth Theatre, combining acting roles with her studies. Freddie Peacock
The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the ITV soap opera '' Coronation Street'' in 2006, by order of first appearance. Aadi Alahan Aadi Alahan, who first appears on 13 January 2006, is introduced alongside his twin sister Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) as the newborn children of Sunita Alahan (Shobna Gulati) and Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin). Aadi and Asha are originally portrayed by triplets Hannah, Harris and Ria Ahmed. The characters were written out following Gulati's decision to leave the soap and depart in February 2006. The character, along with Sunita and Asha, was reintroduced in 2009 with the role recast to Zennon Ditchett. Claire Jane Peacock (also Casey) is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street''. Portrayed by Julia Haworth, the character first appeared onscreen during the episode airing on 9 April 2003, as the new nanny of established character Ashley Peacock's (Steven Arnold) son Joshua (Benjamin Beresford). Her storylines have since seen her fall in love with and marry Ashley, developing post natal depression after giving birth to their son Freddie.
